Living a Healthy lifestyle:
This whole work life balance can be daunting at times. At my old school we had bootcamp twice a week where a trainer came to the school with equipment and worked our butts off. I really miss having fellow colleagues as motivation, as well as the convenience of it. This year I’ve tried a few things to add to my workout repertoire but nothing seems to stick (row class, another bootcamp). When the snow finally melts, I’m going to attempt to ride my bike to school at least once a week this should be a bit of a challenge since it’s up hill both ways, haha. Next year I’m also going to try & start up a bootcamp at my school. Since I don’t seem to have much of a workout regime I’m making sure that I continue to eat healthy. Some of my go-to recipes are Tex Mex Spaghetti Squash, spiralized zucchini with loads of veggies, pesto & shrimp. I also bring a bag of snacks such as apples, dried fruit, olives, & cheese. What are your go-to healthy habits? Join me on this 31 day journey for the month of March with twowritingteachers.org and their 10th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge. #sol17

I usually cook a healthy meal Sunday night that I can eat for lunch at school all week. At this point in the year, however, still a week & a half from Spring Break, I have lost my enthusiasm for cooking and it is sandwiches for lunch. Maybe once nicer weather comes, I will get my mojo back.
